Educational activities

Members of the laboratory team are actively involved in the educational process, in particular, in the lecture courses “Mechanics”, “Molecular Physics”, “Theory of Oscillations and Waves”, “The General Circulation of the Atmosphere and its Mathematical Modeling”, “Fundamentals of Climate Theory”, “Theory Controls, Information Neurodynamics"; three specialists completed an internship in the laboratory on empirical modeling of space-distributed systems; one textbook is created. In the framework of the III Regional conference of teachers of physics and mathematics of the Nizhny Novgorod region "Teaching Initiative" a lecture "Climate and its prediction" (http://www.znanienn.ru/moodle/course/view.php?id=22) was delivered. At the tenth festival of sciences, arts and technologies “Fenist 2018: Thoughts!” (September 24–30, Nizhny Novgorod), the lecture “Current view of the Earth’s climate” was given (https://fenist.org/imagine).

On the basis of the laboratory, members of the research team organized sections at international conferences “Topical problems of nonlinear wave physics” in 2014 and in 2017 in Nizhny Novgorod, “EGU General Assembly” in 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018 in Vienna, “Frontiers of nonlinear physics 2016” in Nizhny Novgorod, conferences for young scientists “Nonlinear waves 2016, 2018” and “MAPATE 2016” in Nizhny Novgorod, as well as the working groups “Network analysis and climate analysis in 2014” and “Analysis of Dynamic Networks and Data Driving Modeling of the Climate” in 2015 in Potsdam.
